Cul de Nave

A Muggia, through the ancient streets, there is a widening of the funny name. Few of those who know the captain explained the origin of the ancient place name. The explanation is simple. The house that divided the two lanes that arise from this open space was characterized by a semicircular shape to that of a people Sailors could not remember the stern of a ship. Recent renovations have replaced the old wall with a form of "orthodox" and common to warrant a "butt" but now compressed always present in the local lexicon had to affix a plaque.

In Muggia, Hidden Among the old alleys there is a funny named place. "Cul de ship" means-infact "Ship ass." Very Few Nowadays people can Understand the reason for it. But the reason is simple. The House Between the two alleys here Originating That Had A semicircular shape, to a sailor community reminded the bow of a ship. Recently Restructured Was the house and the wall Was forced to bow to more "Ortodoxă" shape. Nothing remains of then old "backside" other than a sign on the wall.

Exchanging Of Wedding Rings In Spanish

Barcolana 2009

La Barcolana, la più affollata regata del Mediterraneo festeggia quest'anno la sua 41esima edizione con più di 1800 partecipanti. La giornata splendida, ventosa ma non troppo ne ha fatto un'occasione di festa e divertimento per tutti.

Autumn Cup, familiarly known as "barcolana" is the most crowded regatta in the Mediterranean Sea. This year it celebrates its 41st edition with more than 1800 boats. It was a gorgeous day, windy but not too much and which gave everybody fun and excitement.

Io, al solito, ne ho approfittato per lavorare un pò "en plein ar" su un soggetto non disponibile tutti i giorni.

As usual I took the opportunity for some "en plein air" work on subject that is not there everyday to be painted.
