La stazioncina di Miramare, built around the mid 19-th century to serve the near Miramare Castle (residence of Archduke Maximilian of Hapsburg and his wife Charlotte) and the adjacent park. A few decades ago has been badly damaged by vandals, but recently has been restored to serve the nearby International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA - ISAS). Unfortunately, after the restoration is gone and the huge old wisteria that adorned the porch.
